Blue Cypress Lake is an isolated water body about 20 miles east of Vero Beach, Fla., where cypress trees grow low, twisted and in several feet of water. This day had a broken overcast, the light offering tantalizing shadows and contrasts as the sun broke through and quickly disappeared. Taken from a slow-moving pontoon boat.
