There is nothing like a bird house out on the lake with bright reflections of the fall foliage on the shore opposite to where I was standing. I love the painterly reflections of the background and the bird house created by the gentle ripples in the lake against the sharp, but textured, image of the bird house itself. This image was taken during the golden hour. I used a Nikon D300 with a Nikkor 18.0-200.0 mm f/3.5-5.6 VR lens at 200 mm, 1/160 sec. at f 8.0, ISO 200.
