Fog rolls in and out in the Big Sur area of California and touches up the land. It can be seen only at certain times on very special days. The fog
shows the green water and reef below in a poetic manner filled with grandeur and wonder. Balancing the elements and 'tones' in the same photo is difficult. This photo was not taken with HDR. Natures beauty is all around us. As photographers, it is our art and scientific skill that must show nature at it's best. FOG has no schedule. You must wait for it, hope for it, and be ready for it as it lasts only a short time It is as illusive as a great sunset but much less punctual.
