While visiting southwest Colorado this Fall, we decided to visit the Great Sand Dunes National Park. It was mid afternoon and I was hoping for some good shadows but mother nature didn't cooperate. There was a storm brewing in the distance and headed our way so after a short walk less than a quarter of the way up the dunes, I saw this young man playing in the sand. He, like many others there, was having a great time with his sled but took time out to just play in the sand like a five year old. I couldn't resist taking the shot!
