Sometimes you don't know what is really in a picture until you zoom in and look at the details! Taken from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon...this picture is cropped to show you the surprise in the lower right corner...a big...okay very big...bird!

The full picture has another bird flying above the rim on left side and a helicopter on the right side. I was zooming in to look at some of the interesting erosion patterns and found this bird!

Okay, I could have zoomed/cropped a little more, but the rock formations in the background looked too interesting to exclude.

Not spectacular, but not bad either for a photo taken at 85mm..
