I have a flock of Blue Jays that visit my backyard daily to partake of the peanuts I leave out for them. Within minutes of filling the feeder they arrive and can empty the feeder in about 10 minutes. I am convinced they are sending text messages to each other as soon as I put out the food. I shoot from a makeshift blind from a garage window. Even with a space heater at my feet, it can get cold shooting in the winter, but I love the effect of the snow. Captured with a Canon 80D with Tamron 150-600 f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 at 428mm. 1/250 sec at f7.1, ISO 1600. Processed with Lightroom.
