I was real curious about the solar halo opportunity after noticing it all day and sometimes it will go to sunset. Tonight, no way. The wind was light/offshore and the
sky got dense at the horizon but gave a great background.
Luckily the Gulf of Mexico is real clear due to the absence of rain. You have to be here to validate the image, lol! This 4 inch wavelet pulled up to the Sony a6000, f/4.5, 1/750sec (perfect timing), 20mm (16-50mm kit), ISO 100.
One hand wrapped with the strap, the other keeping the camera body just above the fizz.
Quick work, but not recommended.
