I shot this image at the annual craft fair in Balls Falls, Ontario, Canada where a local conservation group sets up a display of raptors. This bird was perched on a handler's arm so he was relatively close. I kept my focus on the bi rd and, as he got a bit vocal, I fired off a few frames. His expression shows that he's not about to be intimated by anyone or any thing.

The camera was a Nikon D800 with a Sigma 150-600 contemporary lens. The camera was set for ISO 200, the aperture was f/5.6, and th e shutter speed 1/3200 second.
