From a photo project called "Bald". The project sought to represent women with shaven heads or close cut hair styles in a very feminine fashion, juxtaposed against women with different kinds of long hair. The point was to challenge the sentiment that a woman's beauty is solely in her hair. This picture displays the strength behind a woman's decision to cut her hair off.
