I was fiddling with my camera one evening and happened to set it down on the stove top with the lens open. I was astounded at what I saw in the display. A reflection of the stainless backsplash on my smooth cooktop seemed other-worldly. I spent a few minutes capturing the shot, then turned the image sideways for an even more surreal composition.
