I found this little one at one of the less popular viewpoints at the Grand Canyon. It seemed he/she knew that with less human intrusions, it was more free to poke its head out and in this case, sunbathe on a rock ledge that was overhanging the many, many feet down into the depths of the canyon; no fear of heights there! He/she changed positions while I snapped away and, almost sensing it was in the spotlight, turned coyly toward me and seemed to pose, paw on tail, as if to be all proper for the camera!
