The purpose of the Blue Ridge Parkway was to bring people who lived in the city closer to nature. The road was just there, hidden among nature. When I photograph the parkway, I always keep that in mind. I like to show it in small pieces.
This was the first week of Autumn that the colors really started to show. The only difficult part about this trip was the crazy wind gusts, they had to be between 40-50 MPH winds and that made all my shots from this day very difficult.
