While hiking near the Paradise Visitor Center the fall weather changed rapidly between stormy cloud cover, hail mixed with snow, a brief clearing of full brilliant sunlight and a final bank of dense fog. The fall colors were intensified and enhanced by the fog in this spectacular alpine meadow.
