It had snowed the night before, covering the Alaska Range Mountains in a white blanket. This contrsated beautifully with the threatening sky and the colorful tundra and tiaga surrounding the Savage River. I used a Nikon D 300, Nikkor Zoom Lens (18-200mm.), and a Cokin 3 step Neutral Density Filter. The ISO was 160, F/18, and 1/40th second exposure. I also used a Gitzo Tripod and Arca-Swiss Head for the camera.
