This image was taken in August, when there is almost no chance of seeing the aurora borealis in Iceland. However, because of intense solar activity, the aurora appeared over the ice lagoon for one night around midnight...it was spectacular...This was taken with a 15mm fisheye lens on a Canon 5D mark III
