"Aspirations" is an infrared image that was created near Cuvier Park along Coast Boulevard in La Jolla, CA. I was searching for interesting compositions. My eyes would normally have been directed toward the coastal formations, but some inspiration caused me to look up at the palms ahead of me. And there was the unusual composition that resulted from that glance. It seems that each palm is reaching higher for a new goal.
