Arcata Community Park is located in the town of Arcata, which is about 8 miles north of Eureka, California. The park butts up against Humboldt State University. This area is often overcast all day, which is great lighting for shooting in the forest. The image is made up of 6 photos that were stitched together manually in Photoshop CS2. The scene was photographed in the fall of 2004. Didn't yet have a DSLR. Was then shooting with a Minolta A2 Dimage prosumer digital camera. Shot on a Gitzo tripod, Linhof Profi-2 ballhead and a Really Right Stuff Pano clamp. Camera settings (exposure and focus) were set manually.
