I spotted this apple tree on a property in Saranac NY. The orchard had been cleared of most of the apple trees with only these few remaining. The old rings gave this image some unusual character. I am not sure what the rings were originally used for although I was told the large one was used on an old wagon wheel and the two smaller ones on old whisky barrels.
I photographed this image with a Sony RX100ii, 15mm focal length, f11, ISO 200, 1/40 second.
Post processing was done in Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 - color adjustments, vignetting & sharpening.
