Saw this little guy moving along the top of the fence. He was carrying something along. Thought it was food, but when we zoomed in, we realized it was an aphid. My hubby (a fountain of little science facts) told me the ant was moving the aphid not eating it...farming the aphid herd.... I know none of it is good for my plants...but when you get down to their level...it is really very cool and interesting how life works.
