On a tent safari in Botswana and its Okavango Delta area. African Wild Dogs were a highlight of the trip. On this occasion we came across a pack that had been resting and the day was now near darkness, the perfect time for a hunt. These two were on alert, as nearby were several Impala. The pack, some ten in number headed off in search of a late dinner. Camera was a Canon 7D with a Canon 500mm f4 lens. Settings as follows. Aperture was 5.6, speed was at 1/200 sec and ISO was at 800.
