The New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia is the third highest vehicular bridge in the US and attracts many tourists on the third Saturday of each October on "Bridge Day," when demonstrations are given for rappelling and BASE jumping. There is also a catwalk that runs the length of the bridge on the underside, and guided tours are given for those who are brave enough, although tethered, to venture out. There are many views of the bridge over the gorge, so I chose to show a closeup and more abstract image.
