I went to Abraham Lake in Canada to photograph the famous frozen bubbles but the lake was still entirely covered in snow so I decided to go for black and white since there was little colour to deal with anyway. I found one area of the lake where a plate of ice stood out, making a nice lead-in line to highlight the mountains in the background.
Taken with a Leica M Monochrom Top 246 and a Summicron-M 28mm at f/16, 1/30s and ISO320.
