Along an ocean Kayaking trip, we stopped at the abandoned Fort Gorges. Just before we were to leave I spotted this old fire place in one of the old officers quarters. I love old abandoned places especially when I come upon a place where I can imagine someone living or working so very long ago. I particularly liked the picture above it (although it was somewhat etched with some graffiti.
