Ink2Image Introducing New Generation Lyson Cave Paint
By Shutterbug Staff October 26, 2007 — Ink2Image, a Glenview, IL-based distributor of digital inks, media, bulk-feed systems and related products to the photography and fine arts industries, has added Cave Paint R24 to its line of Lyson pigmented inks. Developed as a replacement for the newest OEM pigment inksets like Epson Ultrachrome K3, Cave Paint R24 uses advanced resin technology to provide eye-popping color and supremely rich blacks with superior fade resistance and no bronzing. The R24 inkset includes both Photo Black and Matte Black inks.

"While this ink was developed for use on the latest pigment printers like the Epson Photo R2400, Pro 4800, and Pro 7800/9800, it runs equally well on previous generation Epson printers like the Photo 2200, Pro 4000, and Pro 7600/9600," notes Tony Martin, President of Ink2Image. This means that users of these older machines can now achieve the same ink performance of the latest generation printers without having to purchase new hardware.
