Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements Now Shipping for the Holidays

October 24, 2006 Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) has announced the immediate availability
of Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 and Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 software for
Windows. Photoshop Elements offers innovative ways to organize, edit and share
photo creations. For video enthusiasts, Adobe Premiere Elements provides a simplified
user interface that makes turning home video footage into polished home movies
that are fun to watch and share. Also available together in a single retail
package for Windows, Adobe Photoshop Elements plus Adobe Premiere Elements delivers
unique integrated functionality that provides consumers with the ability to
do more with their photos and home videos.
Photoshop Elements gives consumers ways to drag and drop photos into flexible
layouts and frames. An interactive Adobe Flash based photo gallery service,
called Adobe Photoshop Showcase, allows photos to be shared for free, or upgraded
to an extended sharing service via a Web site. These online galleries can take
the form of a winter scene with falling snow or a book with flipping pages.
The Map View associates photos with the specific geographic location they were
taken and provides and fun and interactive viewing experience. Quick and easy
fixes can be made to fine tune color and lighting with new tools to create rich
black and white photos from color originals and adjust color curves.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 and Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 for Windows are
available separately in the United States and Canada for an estimated street
price of US $99.99 each. The Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 plus Adobe Premiere
Elements 3.0 for Windows bundle is available in the United States and Canada
for an estimated street price of US $149.99.
