By Shutterbug Staff
March 14, 2007 Legion Paper has announced Colorado Fiber, the first of many new products to
be introduced by the new Moab by Legion Paper brand. Colorado Fiber, named after
the Colorado River, which breathes life into the Moab Valley and much of the
West, is a revolutionary new fiber art paper compatible with desktop and large
format printers.
Colorado Fiber is a modern interpretation of a traditional silver halide photographic
paper intended for the highest quality photographic reproduction with modern
inkjet printers. This paper features market leading d-max and incredibly wide
color gamut. Because of its superb ink handling and deep blacks, this paper
is ideal for both black and white and color photography.
Made of alpha cellulose, neutral pH; exceptionally smooth surface with advanced
tri-coating for maximum gamut and high d-max. Acid-free.
The smooth surface of Colorado Fiber Gloss is enhanced with a slight fiber
texture and feel, resulting in a heavyweight print reminiscent of a true air-dried
F-type paper. Compatible with both dye and pigment inks, Colorado Fiber Gloss
is an excellent paper for all fine art and photo reproductions. Available in
245gsm (sheets and rolls).
The surface of Colorado Fiber Satine is enhanced with luster-style texture
resulting in a heavyweight print reminiscent of a true air-dried F-type paper
without the high sheen associated with glossy paper. Available in 245gsm (sheets
and rolls).
