Lexar Increases Capacity of SDHC Memory Cards
Designed for professional photographers and advanced hobbyists who demand optimal performance from SDHC-enabled digital SLR cameras, the Professional 133x 8GB SDHC cards deliver a minimum sustained write speed capability of 20MB per second, which allows photographers to fully leverage the camera’s high-speed processor and accelerate image download times. SDHC cards are based on the Secure Digital Association’s 2.0 specifications,
utilizing the FAT32 file system. While the form factor of SDHC cards is identical
to that of standard SD cards, SDHC cards are not backwards compatible with standard
SD host devices, meaning that SDHC cards cannot be used in standard SD host
devices. SDHC cards are specifically designed for use with SDHC-enabled devices,
and allow users to leverage the higher capacity offered by the cards within
those devices.
