I spotted these two tiger swallowtail butterflies in my wife's flower garden and noticed that they seemed to be displaying a courtship behavior. As the female fed, the male hovered over her. This behavior lasted for several minutes as the flitted from flower to flower. I used a shutter speed of 1/500 sec to freeze wing movement.
