Momento Turns Photos Into Movies

Momento turns digital photos into an animated slideshow with motion effects, artwork, transitions, titles, music and voice-over. Slideshows can be e-mailed, posted on a website or burned directly to DVD. Momento can import all major photo and audio formats straight from a memory card, and with its unique 'SmartStyle' approach, all the user has to do is select a theme and Momento will automatically add motion effects, music and transitions.

Momento offers sophisticated image editing built in, including color correction, red-eye reduction, level adjustment and audio normalization. Momento supports standard definition 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, and even HD resolution.

Momento is available now directly from the Canopus Web site for a suggested retail price of $49.99. Canopus also offers a free, wizard-based version of the software - Momento Express - which includes much of the functionality of the full product, but without the ability to fine-tune or burn to DVD.
