Epson America Announces New Line Of Stylus Pro Wide Format Printers
The Epson Stylus Pro 4880 replaces the Epson Stylus Pro 4800 for printing images
as wide as 17-inches, while the Epson Stylus Pro 7880 and Epson Stylus Pro 9880
replace the Epson Stylus Pro 7800 and 9800 for printing up to 24-inches and
44-inches in width, respectively. With an even higher level of ink droplet accuracy, Epson has developed an all-new MicroPiezo AMC print head, along with an all-new ink repelling coating technology to dramatically reduce nozzle clogging. And, when combined with our new Epson AccuPhoto HD screening technology, at an astonishing resolution of 2,880 x 1,440 dpi, Epson has once again set a new benchmark for the entire industry. All three printers will begin shipping to authorized Epson dealers in October 2007. A ColorBurst Edition will also be available in December 2007 for each model which includes a Professional PostScript Language Level 3 compatible RIP by ColorBurst.
