Sigma Corporation Sponsors Student Magazine Photo Contest, Announces Winner
Sally Bornbusch, an 18-year-old college freshman studying biology and fine arts, is the grand prize winner of the student magazine’s most recent photo contest. Her winning image captured the reflections of two sandhill cranes in a body of water at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico. Bornbusch’s winning photo and description, and the images submitted by other contest runners-up, can be viewed at www.naturesbeststudents.com. “At Sigma, we pride ourselves on using the best technologies available, and we’re especially proud of the fact that our product line is accessible to and affordable for photographers of all kinds,” said Mark Amir-Hamzeh, general manager of Sigma Corporation of America. “We feel it’s important to nurture young photo enthusiasts by supporting their efforts and helping them showcase and continue their work through contests of this nature.” Submissions for the next Nature’s Best Photography Students photo contest will be accepted through March 1; Sigma’s scholarship contest submissions are being accepted until Feb. 15.
